Cristalino Lodge, Mato Grosso, Brazil April 2003 The Tooth-billed Wren is a Brazilian endemic found south of the Amazon between the rivers Madeira and Xingú. These photos were taken from the tower at Cristalino lodge and the bird was in the canopy at around 30 metres up. |

It is uniformly dark grey above with a brownish cap. The tail is light grey with broad black bars. I don't know of any illustrations of this bird. |
